| Welcome to Marc Stine Lawn Care It looks like winter is hanging on as long as possible this year. Let me thank all of our snow and ice customers for a successful season. While it was a struggle at times with near record snowfall, salt shortages, and your snow removal budgets stretched thin, we made it through! Prepayment letters have been sent, equipment has been serviced and the fertilizer is waiting to be applied. Now all we need are a few warm, sunny days to get the season started right. While many area companies are out doing spring applications, I have noticed many lawns still have snow piles in critical areas, such as curb lines and edges. These are areas where it is critical to get a quality application of crabgrass preventer down. While we will begin spring applications the week of March 24th or 31st, we have until mid-May to get the crabgrass preventer applied and still achieve good control, so there's no need to rush into anything. Also, many of you receive winterizer applications in late fall, so spring green up is not dependent on the first application. As always, should you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact us.
